Imperial Middle East went live on ERPNext

Craft Interactive Technology has issued successful go live implementation certificate to Imperial Middle East’s Managing Director Mr. Rupert D Souza.

Imperial Middle East (IME) is a leading company in UAE, Musaffah – Abu Dhabi, one of the largest stockists and distributors for construction speciality chemicals. Their brands include Fosroc, Fischer, FILA, Gyproc, MAPEI, Pidilite, SIGA, Dr Fixit etc.

The diverse range of the products includes Adhesives, Sealants, Coatings, Waterproofing, Tile Grouts, Floor Epoxies, Tile Glues, Safety Wears, and Equipment’s and so on.

Challenges IME had before ERPNext.

1) Fast expiry of chemicals: Due to improper inventory management using the previous existing system, it became difficult to determine the stock replenishment issues and it resulted in excessive bulk orders of chemicals that would lie in warehouses resulting in expiry of chemicals.  

2) Multi warehouse and multi locations branch management: The existing software didn’t allow Imperial Middle East to properly manage multiple warehouses in sync along with their multiple branches resulting in mismatching of stock in branches from warehouses. 

3) No cloud services: With a physical server the setback occurred that employees at Imperial middle east needed to connect to servers via a VPN every time during overseas operations.

4) Lack of Vendor support: IME was not able to connect to vendors properly as a medium to maintain that flow of supply for their chemical products using their existing ERPNext software.   

5) Customer Relationship: IME struggled to proactively promote their services and offers to clients and prospects. Given that IME specializes in construction specialty chemicals, it was crucial to keep clients informed about new products and services.

What IME achieved with Craft Interactive.

1) Perpetual inventory system with Batch and Serial numbers: We implemented ERPNext with customisations including serial numbers and batch traceability against Items so that you can track your products and items seamlessly and avoid conflicts within operations, Within a few months, IME successfully eliminated all expired stocks issue.. 

2) Solutions to manage multi warehouses and branches through ERPNext : With ERPNext implementation we enabled the smooth and steady handling of multiple stores and warehouses, that way IME found it much easier to handle their inventory based on the specific warehouse and store to cater to near perfect stock replenishment.

3) Cloud based solution to manage perpetual inventory: With our cloud based ERPNext implementation we provided Imperial ME with the no bound geographical access to login the system from anywhere without using vpn, that way even when you are traveling you wont miss out on crucial timely updates of your operations. 

4) Local Vendor support : We equipped Imperial ME with a better Vendor support system compared to their previous one using ERPNext. With this they were able to connect and maintain records with multiple local vendors all at once and established trade with them.

5) Customer Relationship Management: Through ERPNext CRM the System allowed users to maintain full details of their customers, with Credit limits (Amount wise and Maximum of number of credit days).
